Rideout to Chatsworth House - Sunday 13th July
Don will be leading a ride-out to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. Meet in Sainsburys car park, Stratton St. Margaret, Swindon, for an 8.00am departure.
Aunt Sally vs Oxford Branch - 7pm Saturday 14th June
Following on from last year's floodlit match, we are battling the Oxford branch in a game of Aunt Sally at the Hind's Head, Kingston Bagpuize. Meet at 7pm.

Club night at George Whites, Swindon - 6.30pm Tuesday 13th May
Our next branch meeting is scheduled for May 13th at GEORGE WHITES, Athena Avenue, Elgin Drive, Swindon, SN2 8EJ, when we will be having a chance to 'drool' over the new bikes, plus there will be Transalp, Fireblade, 600 Hornet and 600 RR demonstrators for us to try out.
PLEASE NOTE: THE MEETING WILL START AT 6.30 PM and will last just an hour. Afterwards we'll adjourn to the Kembrey over the road.
SPRING RALLY 2008 - Friday 2nd May to Monday 5th May

This year's rally is on the May Day bank holiday weekend as usual. However we have a new venue! Please see the rally 2008 page for details.
Thruxton British Superbikes - Sunday 20th April
Don will be leading a ride to the Thruxton round of the British Superbikes Series on Sunday 20th April. The meeting place will be at Sainsbury's Stratton off the A420 from 9am to leave at approx 9.15. The entrance fee is £23 on the gate or you can order on-line in advance for £20 at www.barc.net. If you live south of Swindon and would like to meet up on route send an e-mail and we can organize a suitable meeting place.

Our regular club night at the Red Lion, Avebury. This time we have Tim Perrigrin coming along on behalf the Motorcycle Action Group to give us a presentation about their latest issues and campaigns.
Skittles night with Bristol, Gloucester and Oxford branches - Saturday 16th February 2008
Meet up at around 7.30pm at the Holford Arms for an inter branch Skittles match! The Holford Arms is at Knockdown on the A433 midway between Westonbirt and Didmarton. The full address is Holford Arms, Knockdown, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, GL8 8QY, although it's nowhere near Tetbury!
Ride-out - Sunday 17th February 2008 ** meeting time changed to 10.30am **
Local area ride-out to Cricklade, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Dursley, Stroud and the Cotswolds, via scenic routes. Meet at Sainsburys, Swindon (A420), at 10.30am. I (Rob) will be leading. If you plan to join this ride you could call/text/email me, or just turn up on the day. If it's a sunny day we should have a great time.

Pinkertons Christmas Toy Run to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon - Saturday 15th December
Meeting at the Rugby Club on Greenbridge Road, Swindon, from 10.30am onwards. The club will be open if you want to buy a tea/coffee and/or a bacon butty to ward off the cold. Departing the Rugby Club at approx 12 noon for the rideout ending up at the hospital. Please bring along a small gift but do not wrap it.
There will be a Christmas party in the evening at the Rugby Club with a band and disco. £5 on the door.

Reading Toy Run. Sunday 9th December.
Don is leading a ride-out to the Reading Toy Run this Sunday. Meet at Sainsburys, A420, Swindon at 11.30am. There will be another meeting point at the Hungerford Texaco Garage leaving at 12.00pm. The toy run starts in Reading at 1.00pm. As always at this time of year, the run may be cancelled if the weather is really bad.
Ride-out. Sunday 18th November.
John is leading a ride-out around Wiltshire. There will be a stop for lunch at the Three Magpies at Sells Green, which is next year's rally venue. Meet at Sainsburys Service Station, Oxford Road, Swindon, at 9.45am.

We are doing a ride-out to the Honda Owners Club AGM at Donnington Park Race Circuit. Ron Haslam and his son Leon will be guest speakers. Meeting time and place to be confirmed.

Don is leading a ride-out, stopping off at Fox's Diner at Berinsfield for lunch and Hein Gericke in Reading. So if you want to buy any clothing (bring your HOC membership cards for a 10% discount) this would be a good one to join. Meet at Sainsburys Service Station on the A420, Swindon, at 10am.
Skittles match vs. the Royal Enfield Club. Thursday 11th October at 8pm.
Meet at the White Hart, Oxford Road, Swindon, for what is becoming a sporting tradition - a skittles match against the Royal Enfield Owners Club. Wilts members please note: we lost the last two matches and we could do with your help!

The National Paramedic Officer is coming to our club night to give a talk about road traffic accident first aid.
HOC National Rally. Friday 21st to Monday 24th September.
This year's National Rally is at Filey on the North Yorkshire coast on the weekend of 21st-24th September. See here for further details. If you intend to go, please contact Bob or Claire (see the committee page), who will coordinate a group ride to the event.
Aunt Sally night with Oxford branch. Tuesday 18th September.
We have been invited by Oxford branch to join them for an evening of Aunt Sally at The Plough, Alvescott. Aunt Sally is a traditional throwing game played in Oxfordshire and Berkshire. There is a meal available: £8.50 for the main course and £3.50 for pudding. If you would like food please contact Erica Gassor with your order as soon as possible and no later than 1st Sept. Ride-out to Mid Wales. Saturday 15th September (rescheduled).
Rob is leading a ride-out to Mid Wales and the Elan Valley. Meet 8.00am at Sainsburys petrol station in Swindon on the A420. We'll be stopping somewhere en route for a quick lunch. Note the new date. This ride-out is on a Saturday.

We don't have a speaker arranged for this club meeting so Theo is organising a 'Trivia Quiz Night' instead, for the first hour of the evening! It will cost you the princely sum of £1 to enter and we will sort you into teams of 3 on a 'mix and mingle basis!....proceeds into Club Funds....and a prize for each for the winning team members. So if you want to bring along any friends, spouses, relations, neighbours etc that night, then the more the merrier and a good laugh will be guaranteed for all!!
